How to find us

Tilly’s Cattery in Bedfordshire is less than 10 miles from Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, and is directly accessed from the northbound carriageway of the A1.

We are less than a mile from Sandy and Biggleswade, 5 miles from Shefford and 6 miles from Bedford. The surrounding villages and towns of Stotfold, Baldock, Letchworth, Hitchin & Stevenage are within easy reach, and we’re around 25 miles from Luton Airport and 30 miles from Stansted Airport.

Directions:

Tilly's Boarding Cattery is on the A1 between Biggleswade and Sandy. The A1 is a dual carriageway at this point and we are on the northbound carriageway. This means you need to approach us from the Biggleswade Sainsurys Roundabout.

We are mile & a half NORTH of this roundabout. Once north of the roundabout you'll go through a speed camera, pass a turnoff labelled Lower Caldecote, then past a big layby with a truckers' cafe - actually a blue trailer - at the northmost end, called Grizzly's. Directly after that you'll see a sign that says Seddington Nursery & Coffee Cabin. Past this sign there is a field, & then the nursery's in/out drive. You'll see lots of sheds. Directly after that is the house belonging to the nursery, which is of yellowish brick & faces down the road towards you. We are next door but one to the nursery, but our neighbour is squashed back between us & you won't really see that house. Our house is L shaped, one end coming out to the pathway. The drive is a sharp left immediately before the house.

If you miss us then there is an official cut through about 200yds further on, & you can go back down to the roundabout & try again. If you reach a sign saying Beeston, you've gone too far for the cut through & need to turn round at the next roundabout (Sandy), about half a mile further on. Please note that most satellite navigation systems incorrectly pinpoint us at Beeston, 200 metres further up the A1. Disregard your sat nav once you get close and follow our directions to the cattery.
